***THIS IS A DIGITAL FILE, NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM***

Sometimes people fall into a bit of an obsession and then get over it. Not I. I have been obsessed with moose for as long as I can remember, so, naturally, here we are…..again.

This bad boys name is Finch, tested by 5 absolutely amazing humans who went above and beyond to make sure he was easy to read, picture references when/where needed, typos, more explanation when/if needed. The whole nine yards - love them.

Finch is agreed to be for an adventurous beginner to intermediate - strictly based on shaping and special techniques used (explained on the file). But he turns out absolutely stunning in every color! He is also written in US terminology.

He is wire FREE, proper shaping holds his antlers up without additional support necessary and his neck is wide enough to also not need the extra structure there, too.

I’m so pleased and excited to share him with you.

You’ll need:

  • safety eyes: (I used 18mm Kawaii for worsted and 24mm for velvet from Darkside Crochet)

  • yarn: A: brown - worsted/175 yards, velvet/200yards; B: blue - worsted/85 yards, velvet/110yards; C: Cream - worsted/44yards, velvet/60 yards; D: Black - worsted/18 yards, velvet/25yards

  • hook - to match YOUR tension - I used a 2.75mm/worsted, 3.5mm/velvet

  • polyfil - you can also used weighted pellets if you want to make him a shelf buddy.

  • buttons - they are optional, but I used them because they added an extra touch.

  • and I would HIGHLY recommend stitch markers and pins for placement.

I hope you enjoy making him as much as I do!
