$4.99

***THIS IS NOT A FINISHED ITEM - IT IS A DIGITAL FILE ONLY***

And IIIIIIeeeeiiiiiiii am slightly obsessed with donkeys. But also crocheting. So, why not mash the two obsessions together?

You can thank C3Fiberarts for her name choice of “Richard” - what a catch.

He was indeed tested by 6 beautiful creatures whom I love and appreciate dearly. Their handles are listed on the last page of the pattern if you’d be so kind as to give them a follow.

You’re always more than welcome to sell your finished items, I just ask that you don’t take credit fro the design and share my social media handle so I can continue to create freely.

His final size using the materials I used, is roughly 12” in height and about 5.5” across.

This cute little a$$ was made using:

  • approximately 160 yards of color A #5 velvet

  • approximately 30 yards of color B #5 velvet

  • approximately 8 yards of #6 super bulky faux fur

  • size 3.5mm and 4mm hoooks

  • poly fil (go figure)

  • darning needle - don’t worry, its just the tail, ears and mane.

  • scissors - unless you’re some sore of absolute savage and rip yarn with your hand

  • 20mm eyes from Darkside Crochet (linked on my pattern page - I get nothing from her business for promoting, just love her) - or eye size of your choice
